When faced with the inevitable last stage of an animal companion’s life, it’s common to feel overwhelmed by the volume of information (or lack thereof) and the number of decisions to be made, not to mention the emotional burden of preparing for the loss of a beloved pet amidst so many unknowns.
While we know it’s hard, we believe that this season provides a unique opportunity for you to advocate for your pet and your family. The goal is to have the hard conversations now so that choices can be made with an understanding of disease progression, quality of life, natural death/euthanasia, aftercare, memorialization, and grief, all informed by your family’s worldview and personal desires.
- empower and equip yourself to make the best decisions for your pet and your family -
